Prior to joining RascomStar-QAF, Mr. Elamari was Chairman and General Manager of the General Post and Telecommunications in Libya. Mr Elamari has over 25 years experience of successfully developing and managing telecommunication programs in Libya, such as the deployment of rural communication networks using microwave / wireless technologies. He was also Under Secretary of State in the Ministry of Education Research and Training from 1993 to 1995. He participated in several satellite communications projects including Thuraya, and was a Director at the Arabsat Board from 1995 to 2002. He is instrumental in the RASCOM project since 1997. Mr Elamari graduated from the Faculty of Tripoli in 1978.
